The Challenge

The challenges that beat against education revolve around teachers, families, communities, and students. Here are some articles I'd like to share to shed some light on some of the challenges I believe are the most detrimental to students if they are not faced.

  1. The trainers at the most meaningful professional development programs I ever attended spoke about love being the core of teaching. He gave me the courage to admit that's why I do what I do - our work is a manifestation of that love. Your post reinforces that belief. And there are so many "give the kid a pencil" moments where I've failed to show that love. Thanks for that reminder . . . so glad for your posts.
